Step 1: Check the status
Record the request date, amount, payment method and current status shown in your account. Save relevant terms and communications.
Step 2: Ask one specific question
If the request is pending, ask what exact requirement is preventing approval and whether the requested information could have been collected earlier. If marked paid, ask for a transaction/reference identifier.
Step 3: Use the formal complaints process
If normal support does not resolve the issue, submit a formal complaint to the gambling business. Keep copies of the timeline and evidence.
Step 4: ADR if unresolved
UKGC guidance says you must normally go through the operator's complaints process first. If the dispute remains unresolved after eight weeks, you can take it to an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution provider.
