How wagering requirements work
A wagering requirement tells you how many times you must stake a bonus, or bonus plus deposit,
before any remaining bonus balance (and often associated winnings) can be withdrawn.
Example:
- You receive a £50 bonus with 30x wagering on the bonus.
- You must place £50 × 30 = £1,500 in qualifying bets.
- Only after this can any remaining bonus funds be withdrawn (subject to other rules).
Lower wagering (e.g. 20x) is generally more player-friendly than very high wagering (e.g. 50x+),
but no bonus changes the house edge of the games themselves.
Game weighting & excluded games
Not all games contribute equally towards wagering:
- Slots often contribute 100% (full stake counts).
- Table games and live dealer may contribute 10–20% or be excluded entirely.
- Some high-RTP or low-edge games are excluded to prevent abuse.
Always check the “game weighting” section of the bonus terms so your play actually counts towards the requirement.
